- Log in and open your dashboard.
- Click Add Workspace Source to begin setup.

Start LanceIQ in 5 Minutes
Follow these five steps to connect your payment source, secure event verification, enable 3-way forwarding, and start tracking recovery with dispute-ready proof.
Step 2
Image 2: Add your first workspace source
This is the default first-time setup path.
- Enter a source name (for example: Stripe Production).
- This creates a dedicated source where LanceIQ receives payment events.
- Select your payment provider.
- Store Raw Body: Turn ON if you want 7-day raw payload retention for debugging and dispute support. Turn OFF if you do not need raw payload storage.
- After this step, you will get your API key and webhook URL.
Step 3
Image 3: Save credentials and test connection
This is the most important part. Save these values immediately.
- Copy the API Key and store it safely. You will not see it again.
- Copy the Webhook URL and paste it into your payment provider's webhook/callback URL field (for example in Stripe or Razorpay settings).
- Save provider settings and send a test event to this URL.
- Click Run Check to validate the connection safely.
- Click Done after the check succeeds.
Step 4
Image 4: Add secret and prepare 3-way setup
Now secure incoming events and unlock deeper reconciliation.
- In the source details page, click Add Secret.
- Paste the webhook signing secret from your payment provider.
- This secret helps LanceIQ verify events are genuinely from your provider.
- Then click Configure Forwarding to set up your app destination for 3-way reconciliation.
Step 5
Image 5: Enable forwarding for 3-way reconciliation
This connects provider -> LanceIQ -> your app for full visibility.
- Enter your app endpoint in Destination URL (the URL that should receive payment updates).
- Check Enable forwarding for this source.
- Click Save Target.
- With secret + forwarding enabled, LanceIQ can compare what was paid vs what reached your app, helping you run 3-way reconciliation.
