1. What LanceIQ Does

LanceIQ connects your Shopify store to ONDC (Open Network for Digital Commerce). When you install it, your product catalog is listed on the ONDC network, making your products discoverable on buyer apps like Paytm, Magicpin, and Meesho. Orders placed by buyers on these apps are routed back to your Shopify dashboard for fulfilment. By installing and using the app, you agree to these terms.

2. Your Responsibilities as a Merchant

• Your product listings must be accurate — correct prices, correct descriptions, correct stock levels. ONDC buyers rely on what you publish.
• You are responsible for fulfilling orders that arrive in your Shopify dashboard. LanceIQ routes the order to you; fulfilment is your responsibility.
• Your products must comply with Indian law and ONDC's seller guidelines. You must not list prohibited, counterfeit, or regulated items.
• You are responsible for maintaining your Shopify store's product catalogue. If you update prices or stock in Shopify, LanceIQ will sync the changes to ONDC.

3. What LanceIQ Is Responsible For

• Syncing your Shopify product catalog to the ONDC network accurately and in a timely manner.
• Receiving orders from ONDC buyer apps and creating the corresponding order in your Shopify dashboard.
• Routing each order through ONDC's delivery network and updating order status in Shopify.
• Maintaining the connection between your Shopify store and ONDC, including handling retries when network issues occur.

4. What LanceIQ Is Not Responsible For

• ONDC is a third-party open network operated by ONDC Limited (a Government of India initiative). LanceIQ does not control ONDC's uptime, policies, or network behaviour.
• Delivery is handled by ONDC-registered logistics providers. Delivery delays, failed deliveries, or logistics issues are subject to the logistics provider's terms.
• Buyer apps (Paytm, Magicpin, Meesho, etc.) are independent platforms. Their availability, buyer behaviour, and policies are outside our control.
• If ONDC changes its network rules, categories, or fee structures, those changes apply to all sellers on the network including yours.

5. Pricing and the Free Period

LanceIQ is currently free to use. This is a time-limited offer. When we introduce paid plans, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance by email. Merchants already active on the platform at the time of that change will be given options that respect their early adoption. We will never charge you without prior notice and your explicit agreement.

6. Shopify App Store Terms

LanceIQ is distributed through the Shopify App Store. Your use of the app is also subject to Shopify's Partner Program Agreement and Shopify's API Terms of Service. In the event of a conflict between those terms and these terms, Shopify's terms take precedence regarding the Shopify platform.

7. Termination

You can uninstall LanceIQ from your Shopify store at any time. Uninstalling will remove your product listings from ONDC. Any orders already received and in your Shopify dashboard remain your responsibility to fulfil. We can suspend or terminate access to LanceIQ if a merchant violates these terms, particularly around prohibited products or fraudulent activity.

8. Limitation of Liability

LanceIQ is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do our best to keep the service reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for lost sales caused by ONDC network outages, logistics failures, or Shopify platform issues. Our liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 3 months preceding any claim — which, during the free period, is zero.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. We will notify you by email before significant changes take effect. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Continued use of the app after notice of changes constitutes acceptance.
